l_fff8292448da4dc8bcd2dc60ec56ef7a3-Time ICE Racing World Champion – The First Lady of ICE Racing – MANDY “WILD CHILD” BRODIL RETURNS FROM RETIREMENT!!

After recovering from a serious racing injury, followed by taking off time to start a family, 3-Time World Champion Mandy “Wild Child” Brodil is returning to the toughest, most competitive ice racing circuit on earth. She will be competing in the ICE/International Championship Events 34th Annual World Championship ICE Racing Series. Her first start in 4 years will be this season’s Opening Round at the Roanoke Civic Center in Roanoke, VA on November 14th. Brodil will compete be competing here in Portland at the Memorial Coliseum for World Championship Round 7 on December 19th in ICE’s wild Pro Unlimited Outlaw Quad Division.

Back when Mandy was active, to say that she was a terror on ice could be considered a huge understatement. She has won countless major national events and 3 World Championship Titles in the process. Veteran ice racer Brodil is a realist and understands returning to her winning ways immediately will be a tall order indeed. She recently explained to ICE officials: “I don’t ever start the season thinking I am going to win, so no false hope there. I just try my best and leave it out on the table.”

Mandy’s many fans across the nation will be thrilled with the news of her return to racing. Her fellow racers, well, maybe they’re not so thrilled. They know this is one pretty blue-eyed blond that can easily give them a run for their money.  They know when the “Wild Child” lines up against you for the start of a race – she’s the one you have to beat if you want to win.

Brodil’s racing career started from her hometown in Los Banos, CA, while these days she calls Grandy, NC her home. One thing is for certain, Brodil’s announcement will make the already unpredictable Outlaw Quad World Championship Title chase even more interesting and exciting. Don’t miss it!!

World Championship ICE Racing blasts off at 7:30PM on Saturday December 19th.  At the end of the night, Portland Champions will be crowned in the Pro Outlaw Quads and the Pro Manufacturers World Cup Motorcycle Division. Race fans will also be thrilled by the Vertical Mischief Sport Bike Stunt Team from Wisconsin performing unbelievable stunts on ice, plus other fun and exciting attractions.
