It is an exciting week for the Rose Quarter, as we launch the newly redesigned RoseQuarter.com. 

According to Dan Harbison, Director of Interactive Marketing and Media for the Portland Trail Blazers, “This project has been long overdue (the old site was over 5 years old); however, the end result is something we are extremely proud of. Several people have been working extremely hard to bring a new design and functionality that compliments the activity and innovation that helps drive the Rose Quarter.”

Sheri Alderman, Rose Quarter Director of Marketing, stated “After working to develop this new site over the last year, we are incredibly excited to finally have the opportunity to show the public all of our hard work. We spent a lot of time researching what best practices were out there, and we feel that we have come up with the best possibleRoseQuarter.com, given our budget and timeframe. One of our biggest initiatives over the past year has been increasing our presence as a venue in the various social networking sites, and it was fun to tie that in to our primary communication avenue – the website now features a live Twitter and blog feed, as well as links to share event details on Facebook, Twitter, and tons of other sites.”

RoseQuarter.com was designed by the Portland Trail Blazers, Inc, and developed by the Portland interactive firm, Desjalogic.  The Portland Trail Blazers, Inc and Desjalogic worked with the local Marketing Department at the Rose Quarter to create the first-class site.

The site provides links to purchase tickets, directions and parking information, a variety of seating charts, job opportunities, venue data and photo galleries. Guests with disabilities can find detailed information about accessibility including assistive listening devices and wheelchair escorts. Enhanced features include: tying in Social Networking (links to share events on Facebook, Twitter, Google, etc.), live Rose Quarter Blog and Twitter feed on the homepage, more details on upcoming events, events calendar with alphabetical view option, and much more!
